Self-care practices are just that: practices. Experiment with different activities, and find out what daily, weekly, or monthly routines enhance your mood, energizes you, or relaxes you.
- Put your phone on Airplane mode
- Take yourself out for a meal
- De-clutter a closet
- Sign up for a class
- Make a list of your accomplishments
- Start a journal
- Go for a swim

To develop your gratitude practice, add a daily gratitude habit to enhance positivity. Once a day, before a meal, or before bedtime, notice and acknowledge one thing you are grateful for. Try doing this at the same time each day. While this practice only takes a few minutes to do, it forces us to focus on the positives in our lives at least once day. Even on the toughest day, there is usually something good to reflect upon.
