🌰 Жареные каштаны — вкус моего детства.
Сегодня я готовила жареные каштаны, и вместе с их ароматом вернулись самые тёплые воспоминания… ❤️

Моя бабушка и дедушка готовили каштаны в печке, а я вспоминаю осенний, добрый и красивый Ереван моего детства. На улицах устанавливали небольшие печки, топили их дровами и прямо на улице жарили и продавали каштаны.

Запах дыма, тепло огня, прохладный осенний воздух и горячие каштаны в руках… 🍂 Как же прекрасны эти простые моменты, которые остаются с нами на всю жизнь!

Сегодня, готовя их дома, я словно прикоснулась к своему детству — к родным людям, уюту и времени, когда счастье пряталось в самых простых вещах.

Homemade food, family traditions & a little creative magic! 👩🏻‍🍳

🍕 Pizza Margherita — always starting from scratch with homemade sauce. The secret to a great pizza!

🧀 Khachapuri, my way — classic dough with my own interpretation of the filling. Tradition meets imagination.

🥮 Cottage Cheese & Walnut Dessert — my own creation somewhere between Armenian gata and sweet ci******es. A little tradition, a little improvisation, and lots of love!

🍲 Borscht — a comforting classic soup, rich in flavor and full of warmth.

🐟 Fish — simple, delicious, and always welcome at our table.

🥬 Homemade Sauerkraut — naturally fermented, with no vinegar or added sugar. Just cabbage, salt, and patience.

🌾 Armenian Pilaf (Հաճարով փլավ) — a wholesome traditional dish made with cracked wheat.

🥗 Armenian Summer Salad — fresh, colorful, and full of seasonal flavors.

🥘 Paella — one dish, many Valencian traditions
In Valencia, paella is not simply one recipe. There are many versions of this iconic rice dish, each with its own ingredients and character.

Paella Valenciana — the classic combination of chicken, rabbit, garrofó beans and green beans.

Paella de Marisco — seafood with prawns, mussels, squid and the flavours of the Mediterranean.

Paella Mixta — meat and seafood together.

Arroz del Senyoret — seafood rice with the shellfish already peeled, so you can simply enjoy the rice.

Arroz Negro — black rice coloured with squid ink, usually with squid or cuttlefish.

Arroz a Banda — rice cooked in a rich fish and seafood broth.

Fideuà — similar to paella, but made with short noodles instead of rice, traditionally with seafood.

And then there are meloso and caldoso rice dishes — softer and more soupy than a traditional dry paella.

For me, discovering Valencia is also discovering its food culture: rice, local ingredients and centuries of tradition in every dish. 🇪🇸🥘

Today’s table tastes like Armenia. 🇦🇲
I cooked Armenian sig fish from Lake Sevan, simply and traditionally, with the unmistakable aroma of fresh tarkhun (Armenian tarragon). 🌿🐟

For me, Armenian gastronomy is not just food — it is the taste of our mountains, lakes, herbs and memories.

It’s the smell of fire, the sound of family conversations, the table waiting to be filled, and that special feeling of being surrounded by your loved ones. ❤️

In Armenia, khorovats is a tradition. Meat slowly grilled over charcoal, fresh vegetables, herbs, lavash… and, of course, plenty of laughter around the table.

Every family has its own way of making it. Every barbecue has its own story.

Даже самые классические блюда у меня дома никогда не бывают совсем «по классике» 😊

Для своих я всегда немного импровизирую — учитываю, кто что любит, кому больше овощей, кому что-то понежнее, а кому обязательно нужен тот самый любимый вкус ❤️

Потому что домашняя еда — это не только рецепт.
Это внимание, забота и маленькие детали, которые говорят: «Я знаю, что ты любишь».
