Let's talk acne !
Whether your skin has several white bumps, red pimples, or your nose is dotted with blackheads, you want to get rid of them—fast!

1. Whiteheads
White bumps on skin are another type of clogged pore.
They’re sometimes referred to as closed comedones because, unlike blackheads, the head of the white bump is covered by a thin layer of skin, so the contents aren’t exposed to the air so don’t oxidize.
Treatment : Bha or Aha exfoliant, Retinol.

2. Blackheads

Blackheads are "plugs" of sebum, skin cell buildup, and bacteria. Kind of like whiteheads.
Only, in the case of a blackhead, the comedo is open and the oil has oxidized, making it a darker color.
Treatment: Salicylic acid, Niacinamide + clay mask can help .

3. Papules are the most common type of pimples, and what most people tend to think of as acne or describe as “zits.”
These small to medium-size pimples look pink to slightly red, have a soft surface, and are filled with fluid and excess oil.
They can feel a bit sore when touched.
Treatment: Spot salyclic acid , regular use of Retinol, BHA, Niacinamide

4. Pustules

A pustule is what you're most likely to think of when you picture a pimple.
It's a zit that has come to a head, forming a white top.
Treatment : spot salycilic acid, Retinol,AHAs, Benzoyl Peroxide.

5. Cysts

They lie deep within the skin, are often caused by hormones, and occur when the pores become blocked and lead to infection. 
Treatment : Retinol is the best ingredient with great result , other include regular use of AHA BHA acids,anti-inflammatory ingredients,antibiotic cream, gentle cleansing.

6. Nodules

Like cysts, nodular pimples are one of the most severe forms of acne.
They're slightly different in that they are not filled with pus like cystic pimples are. Instead, they form a hard bump deep within the skin and feel painful at the surface.

Treatment:Good skincare routine, regular use of exfoliation and Tretinoin works amazing but usually needs pretty intensive treatments, beeing one of the most stubborn type of acne.

Azelaic Acid is a 3-in-1 clinically proven active that helps reduce blemishes, pigmentation and redness. This formula uses a new-generation water-soluble form called Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD) that has similar properties to Azelaic Acid, but enables a super-light, oil-free texture. The two strong points of PAD are to even the skin tone and to control excessive oiliness.

My answer is that it depends on the ingredient you’re using. Even though it can be frustrating to wait for results (especially if you’re putting a lot of time and effort into your routine), you have to remember the old saying, “good things come to those who wait.”
Trust me, for some skincare ingredients, this is definitely true! Keep reading to learn which skincare ingredients will give you instant gratification (and which ones are worth the wait.

While it’s nice to have a general time frame in mind, it’s often impossible to say exactly how long a specific product will take to make visible changes in your skin.
This is because there are tons of variables at play: the form of the ingredient being used (for example, is it a water- or oil-soluble form of vitamin C?), the dose (aka percentage), the base it’s formulated in, and how often you apply it, the quality of the raw materials used, and the formulation.
All of these things will make a difference.

What is skin pH?
pH (or potential of hydrogen, if we’re getting super specific here) is a measure of how acidic or basic a water-based solution is.
On its scale of 0-14, anything below 7 is acidic, anything above 7 is basic, and exactly 7 is neutral. For example: Lemon juice (which you probably know is acidic) has a pH of 2, bleach is very basic with a pH of 12, and water sits in the middle at 7 (the number considered “neutral”).

The natural pH of our skin is quite acidic and hovers around 5. Of course, everyone’s skin is unique and can change.

⭐️FUN FACT: Skin’s pH grows as we grow older, which is why we’ll notice an uptick in dryness and wrinkles as we age.

Why Use pH-Balanced?

Products pH-balanced skincare refers to products that mimic skin’s natural pH—not too basic, not too acidic—to keep its acid mantle (a.k.a. skin’s barrier function, which protects against bacteria, irritants, and stressors) happy and healthy.
This oil-water layer provides a barrier on our skin and can only be broken by coming in contact with extremely acidic or extremely alkaline substances.
Using pH-balanced skincare is beneficial for everyone, but it’s especially useful if your skin is sensitive or prone to inflammatory conditions like rosacea and eczema, since these often indicate a weakened acid mantle.

By the way, know that it’s perfectly okay to layer products with different pHs together—individual pH’s don’t impact each other.
