The founder of lifeyear clinic, Dr Layla Lahoud holds a degree in anti-aging, preventive and regenerative medicine from Dresden International University in Germany. After graduating from the American University of Beirut with a degree of medical doctor diploma, she comp
leted a four-year residency program in Anatomic Pathology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Kidney pathology at the Lebanese University with the support of Columbia University, New York. Dr Layla is keen at providing her patients with a thorough and individualized approach in her assessment guided by key findings in the medical history, clinical examination, special functional biology testing and most importantly the genetic profiling. With her unique patient-centric approach, she will help every individual set his/her own HEALTH MANAGEMENT PLAN which will include the major predisposing genes and basic recommendations for a better quality of life and a longer, healthier and successful aging. After completing her studies in Germany, she decided to transmit the knowledge and European expertise in anti-aging and preventive medicine to her home country Lebanon, becoming a pioneer in this domain in the region, hoping to help people understand more their own genetic makeup and identify the protective factors that will ensure a better health for now and for the future.
