Every summer feels the same.

Hiding. Avoiding. Watching everyone else feel comfortable in their own skin.

But here’s what I want you to know.

Your body can change in midlife.
This is not permanent.
This is not who you are forever.

The women I work with felt exactly like you do right now.

And here is where they started.

Protein at every single meal.

Aim for 30 grams. Chicken, fish, eggs, Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese.

Walk every day.
8000 steps minimum.
Non negotiable.
Strength train minimum twice a week.
Short sessions.
30 minutes is enough.
That’s it.

Not a detox.
Not a diet.
Not a complete overhaul.

Just three foundations applied consistently.

Six weeks of that and you will feel different going into summer.

You don’t have to spend another holiday hiding.

I’ve created a menopause starter kit sharing all you need to know.

Sophie came to me completely lost.

Hating how she looked.
Unable to make any change.
Highly stressed.
Not sleeping.
Loss of confidence.
Unable to manage difficult situations.

A high achieving professional woman. Respected in her field. Winning at work.

Lost her confidence elsewhere.

6 months later:

75kg → 69kg
Size 14 → Size 10
2 dress sizes gone.

But in her own words:

“The benefit has been the weight loss and the change in my shape but even more importantly the change in my mental strength.”

“I am physically and mentally stronger than I’ve been since my twenties.”

“I’m sleeping better and I can now manage stressful situations without becoming overwhelmed.”

“I feel independent again.”

“I now feel confident that I can positively support my body through hormonal changes.”

“What made this experience different was how personalised and achievable everything felt.”

She didn’t just lose weight.

She transformed her life.

And summer is coming.

This could be you.

If there is one thing I could tell every midlife woman it is this.

Eat more protein.

Not because it is a magic solution.
Because it is the foundation that makes everything else work.

Protein combined with strength training helps you maintain and build muscle as you age. And muscle is what keeps your metabolism working.

It regulates your blood sugar — which means fewer cravings, more stable energy and less reaching for something you’ll regret at 9pm.

And your body burns more calories digesting protein than it does digesting carbs or fat.

So just eating enough of it is already working in your favour.

Most women I speak to are significantly under eating protein because nobody has ever told them how much they actually need or made it feel manageable.

This is where I start with every single client.

A palm sized portion of protein at every meal. Or aim for 30 grams. Build from there.

Chicken. Fish. Eggs. Greek yoghurt. Cottage cheese.

Simple. Sustainable. Effective.

When you get protein right — everything else gets easier.

Comment PROTEIN101 below and I’ll send you my protein guide — everything you need to know to get started.

The women who transform their bodies in midlife have one thing in common.

They made the decision themselves.

Not because someone gave them permission.

Not because the timing was perfect.

Not because everything was in place.

Just because they decided. That’s it.

No more waiting. No more checking. No more putting themselves last.

Just a quiet, firm decision that this time, it’s for them.

I’d love to hear your experience on this
I hear it all the time

Leena is a high achieving professional woman.

Demanding career.
Long hours.
No predictable routine.

She’d stopped feeling like herself.

Hiding behind dark jackets.
Shrinking in rooms she used to own.

Over 16 weeks we built structure around her actual life.

She showed up through the hard weeks.
The exhausting weeks.
The weeks where everything else came first.

68kg to 64.7kg.
5cm off her waist.

But this is the line that stayed with me:

“It’s helped me stand up straight again and stop hiding myself.”

And then she got the promotion.

She always knew she was capable.

She just needed the right structure to prove it to herself.

So do you.

Comment LEENA below and I’ll send you a walkthrough of exactly how I coached her.

HRT is one of the most important tools we have for managing menopause symptoms.

But it is not a weight loss treatment.

I’ve had women tell me they’re waiting to see if HRT will help them lose weight before they change anything else.

As a doctor of 27 years.
I have never seen that work.

HRT can help with symptoms.
Sleep. Mood. Hot flushes. Quality of life.

But weight loss requires a calorie deficit. Strength training. Protein. Structure.

HRT doesn’t create any of those things.

Don’t wait for a prescription to do the work that only lifestyle change can do.

Share this post to someone who needs to hear it and it, and save this for the next time you’re tempted to wait.

She gets dressed with the lights off.
She’s stopped reaching for him in the way she used to.

She hasn’t said a word about it.
Not to her friends.
Not to her husband.
Not to her doctor.

This is a woman who leads meetings, manages teams, holds everything together at work and at home.

She succeeds in every aspect of her life.
But this, her body, her weight, the woman she sees in the mirror, this is the one thing that feels completely out of her control.

And she can’t understand why.

Because some things feel too small to mention.

And some things feel too big.

This is the part of menopause nobody puts on an information leaflet.

The quiet withdrawal.
The disconnection from your own body.
The feeling that the woman you used to be has just... gone somewhere.

I want you to hear this.
She hasn’t gone.
She’s still there.
Underneath the exhaustion, the frustration, the clothes she hides behind.

She’s waiting.

And this — all of this — is fixable.

The weight gain, the disconnection, the loss of confidence are not permanent.
They are not who you are now.
They are not who you will always be.

With the right structure, the right support, and a plan built around your real life, women come back to themselves.

I see it every single day.

Comment STARTER below and I’ll send you my free starter kit — the three foundations every midlife woman needs to start seeing results.

Honestly? This week nearly broke me.

Work, training, life admin, trying to show up for everyone.

I hit a wall.

And I’m sharing that because I think it matters.

I’m not immune to the overwhelm.
Nobody is.

But here’s what I know since I started doing this work, the women who come to me are carrying so much.

Running businesses, raising families, managing careers, navigating bodies that feel like they’re changing overnight.

And they’re still getting up every day and doing it again.

That’s not weakness.
That’s extraordinary.

I started this page to give women hope that perimenopause doesn’t have to derail you.

That you don’t have to silently accept feeling exhausted, not like yourself, and running on empty.

That’s still true.
Even though some weeks it’s hard to feel it.

We’re allowed to have those weeks.
You’re not alone here.
