Road safety is a shared responsibility, and meaningful change begins through collaboration.
Today, 18th July 2026, at the SLMA Auditorium, we successfully concluded the Road Safety Conference together with the official launch of the Helmet Hero Project, bringing together key stakeholders committed to creating safer roads across Sri Lanka.
The Rotary Club of Sri Jayawardenapura is proud to play a major role in this impactful initiative under the guidance of Rtn. Dr. Ruwan Thushara Matewelage, whose leadership and dedication continue to drive this mission forward.
We are also proud to have eChannelling PLC join this national initiative as a committed partner, supporting the vision of promoting road safety, preventive healthcare, and community well-being. Together with the Safe Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 movement, this collaboration reflects our shared commitment to protecting lives and creating a safer future for every Sri Lankan.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the government representatives, healthcare professionals, partner organizations, and other key stakeholders who participated in this important event. Your collective commitment and collaboration are essential in building a stronger culture of road safety and saving lives.
Together, let’s make Sri Lanka’s roads safer—one helmet, one rider, and one life at a time.
