It is with profound sadness we inform the demise of Distinguished Old Mahindian Dr. Lankathilka Jayasinghe (Former Director - Ampara General Hospital).
May he attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana!

His remains now lie at No. 75/35C, Gramasanwarana Road, Polwatta, Pannipitiya till 8.00pm on 24th Friday.
On 25th Saturday, the remains will be at General Hospital Ampara.

The funeral will be held on 25th July (Saturday) - 5.00pm at Ampara Public Ground.

Mahindian Navod Paranavithana established the highest score by a Sri Lankan Schoolboy cricketer recording 409 and becoming the first Sri Lankan batsman to ever score 400 runs in any level of the game in the singer under 19 tournament, proving the might and the domination of Mahindians in the field of cricket. Congratulations fellow Mahindian for your incredible skill in achieving a pinnacle of record in the history of national level cricket.
