At 76 I came late to Didion, and I don’t remember how! But Google searches and YouTube interviews and documentaries I immersed myself researching Didion had me captivated! Then to find her literature! I did not what overseas friends posting me books as the process of actually receiving them is very long winded! Then a friend introduced me to a bookshop . I found their 60 pages of book titles online and ordered these Didion books! Collected on Monday I now begin to read! BLISS!!!

My obsession at present is watching clips of Downton Abbey! I have been bedridden for the past fortnight, a reaction to dog bites I couldn’t get medical attention for. Fighting infection, reacting with the arthritis, reduced my capacity to drink and eat! Dehydration came close. During these woozy days and nights I was reran Downton Abbey in my head, over and over!
On the mend now, waiting to buy a walker, as the stick for support when walking is just not enough! And I am trying to stop scrolling, so if I miss you posts, I apologize!
