We weren’t lying when we said our breathing technique works.

You may have wondered why your piercing looks bigger or longer than expected.

This is intentional.

During the initial healing phase, piercings go through swelling. Because of this, longer jewelry known as starter jewelry is used to allow proper healing without pressure or restriction.

Once that initial phase passes, the jewelry can be downsized for a better fit. Downsizing helps reduce irritation, improves longterm healing, and gives the piercing a cleaner overall look.
