I am a student of the NV Massaquoi junior high school in West Point and a beneficiary of the Educate West Point/ Cova Project.
I received the flow cup two years ago, and currently using it .I am very much excited to be apart of the project.
The flow cup is very amazing, using the flow cup gives me comfort , confident and very reliable. It make me smell good all day long during my period.
As a student , the purchase of pad had been a huge challenge as girl child from the slum community. This cup have build my confident , I am always present in school and even keeping me more focus, because my monthly period was one of my biggest worry about messing up in class . Thanks to Educate West Point/ Cova project for providing answer to my period management.

Menstrual Health club meeting with students from the Gray D. Allison high school.
We had an interactive discussion with the students both from junior and senior high level. Most of the students were excited to know the meaning of menstruation, how it occur and how to calculate their Menstrual cycle.

*First of all what is menstruation?
Menstruation is the monthly flow of blood through the va**na.
* How does menstruation occur?
Menstruation occur when an egg is released from one of your ovaries Which travel through the fallopian tube, when it's not fertilize by a male s***m it passes through the uterus and come down with other lines as menstruation.
*What is the Menstrual cycle?
The Menstrual cycle is what your body goes through to get ready for pregnancy. It is also one of the stages of puberty that your body is getting mature.
This cycle is the time from the first day of your period ( first day of bleeding) up to the day before the start of your next period.
It's normal to have regular cycles that are longer or shorter than this (from 21-41 days).
Your cycle takes up to six months and above to stay regular. This means you will have to observe your cycle before knowing that you have a 21 days or 28 days cycle.

Now they wouldn't have to expect their period in a particular date in every month. These are students who benefited from the Cova/Educate west point Menstrual flow cup distributions.
