🏡 Making local heritage more accessible

Through the project "Little Lithuania – Masuria. Local Heritage – Transregional Cooperation”, detailed bronze models of traditional wooden buildings from Lithuania Minor are being created for a permanent multisensory outdoor exhibition. The models will allow visitors to discover the region’s architectural heritage through touch, making it more accessible to blind and partially sighted people.

As part of the “Improving Access to Children's Healthcare Services in the Lithuania-Poland Border Region” project, Vilkaviškis Hospital and the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Voivodeship Hospital in Łomża are exchanging knowledge and experience to improve healthcare services for children.

Recent activities included health picnics in both Lithuania and Poland, where medical professionals engaged children and families through practical health education, healthy lifestyle promotion, and interactive activities. The partners also shared good practices in pediatric care, rehabilitation, and health promotion, strengthening cross-border cooperation and building better healthcare opportunities for families on both sides of the border.
