Ad verbum is now ISO 14001 certified.

Received in July 2026, the certification covers how we manage our environmental responsibilities and keep track of improvements.

We’re also pleased to share an update on our sister company, Plio. Its 1 MW solar power plant generates around 1 GWh of electricity each year, enough to cover the annual electricity consumption of both Plio and AD VERBUM.

ISO 14001 joins ISO 42001 and AQAP 2110 as our third new certification this summer. A busy few months for the team, and work we’re proud to share.

Ad verbum has acquired LinguaCore!

The translation industry spent a decade chasing speed. Faster engines, cheaper words. NMT was the right tool for that, and it delivered exactly what it promised: texts at scale, some of them wrong in ways nobody noticed until a client's legal team read the German.

LinguaCore was built for those who didn't want to play that game. They went with LLMs, not NMT, because a large language model can be corrected, given context, and reasoned with. LinguaCore is also LLM-agnostic, giving complete freedom in terms of LLMs, geographies, and hosting approaches. When a better model comes out, and one always does, you swap it in. The workflow stays.

Quality first. Speed as a by-product. That's the order we've kept at Ad verbum since we started building our AI+HUMAN approach, so this wasn't a hard decision. Two companies, same stubbornness.

LinguaCore now lives inside our LangOps platform. For our clients, that means better machinery under the same people they already trust. For LinguaCore it means a future with a team that agrees with them. Rare thing, that.

Big news. Ad verbum has signed a framework agreement with Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund to support their language work.

DRV Bund pays pensions to millions. A lot of those people live outside Germany and never spoke German. The letters still have to make sense to them.

Get one sentence wrong and you can hold up someone's retirement. That's real money, owed to a real person.

So we keep it simple: efficient translation that stays correct and consistent.
