Institute Igalo Hosts ArChro Research Team on the Occasion of Norway’s Constitution Day
🇲🇪🇳🇴 On the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Kingdom of Norway, the “Dr Simo Milošević” Institute Igalo had the pleasure of hosting a Norwegian research and artistic team currently staying at our Institute as part of the international project “An Architecture of Chronic Illness (ArChro)”, funded by the Norwegian Research Council.
The team is led by Anna Ulrikke Andersen, and through their work they explore the experiences of Norwegian patients who have undergone treatment at the Institute Igalo over the past decades, as well as the significance Igalo has had in the lives of generations of Norwegian patients.
A friendly meeting with the project guests was organized to mark Norway’s national holiday, once again confirming the strong and long-standing connection between the Institute Igalo and Norway, which spans almost 50 years.
The meeting on behalf of the Institute was attended by Executive Director Dr Zoran Kovačević, Medical Director Dr Marija Obradović, and Director of Marketing and Sales Slobodan Slavić.
The research team’s stay at the Institute is part of preparations for an international exhibition and academic publications that will present the unique history of cooperation between Norway and the Institute Igalo, as well as the importance of the rehabilitation program that has for decades brought together patients from this Scandinavian country.
The Institute Igalo remains committed to fostering international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and preserving the valuable history of friendship between Montenegro and Norway. 🇳🇴
