NEW MOON SALUTATION

It is New Moon phase now, and for this period of time SLOW FLOW STRETCH PRACTICE is recommended.

It is naturally to link yoga practice with the moon phases as well as with the seasons. And it is a great way to connect to your own intuition and stay grounded.

Energetically and symbolically the New Mood is the time of the month where everything begins. Like planting a seed into the soil it is time to plant our own seeds of intentions. So for this next Lunar cycle the next four weeks this is your opportunity to get really clear, to turn inwards, foggeting about everyone else and everything else that happening outside, and ask ourselves questions of... How do I want my life to go?
What do I need more of?
What do i need lees of?
Where is my energy best spent?
And really carving out an intention and holding it within for the next four weeks.

Energetically this can be the time of the month where our energy levels are at their lowest so this should be grounding slow practice, no strength required, just flexibility, finding some comfort in body and finding a sense of inner peace. Quiet down, listen to your intuition, and inner voice. It is always recommended having a journal close by so at the end of practice you can write down what your intention is and any other insights that came to you.
