We are looking for a dynamic Patient Coordinator who will ensure that all the needs of patients are being addressed at Life I C+S Diagnostic Centre at Forbach. Life I C+S Diagnostic Centre is part of Life Together, the Health & Life Sciences cluster of IBL Group.

He/she will report to the Healthcare Unit Manager

Key Responsibilities 👇🏻

👉🏻 Act as the point of contact for the patients, family members, care providers and other healthcare institutions, when appropriate
👉🏻 Manage the continuous quality improvement (CQI) of processes, safety, and patient care by defining the problem, benchmarking, setting a goal, then iterative quality improvement projects
👉🏻 Implement the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to enhance the Patient Experience and take preventive and corrective actions as and when needed
👉🏻 Lead and manage the team of medical secretaries to ensure operational effectiveness as per established standards
👉🏻 Act as the contact point between Life Together team and Life I C+S / Life I Viva teams for all communication actions and events
👉🏻 Participate to events and health screening activities

Qualifications & Experience

Experience as Patient Coordinator would be an advantage.

👉🏻 Responsive, resourceful, well organized, and positive work attitude
👉🏻 Strong verbal and written communication skills
👉🏻 Strong analytical thinking and the ability to handle multiple tasks
👉🏻 Excellent customer service skills to provide ongoing support for patients and their families
👉🏻 Possess strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy, persuasiveness and negotiating skills to foster a climate of cooperation and trust

We are looking for a dynamic Medical Secretary who will ensure that all the needs of patients are being addressed at Life I C+S Diagnostic Centre at Forbach. Life I C+S Diagnostic Centre is part of Life Together, the Health & Life Sciences cluster of IBL Group.

Key Responsibilities 👇🏻

The Medical Secretary is the first point of contact for anyone accessing the Clinic, he/ she is responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, providing assistance to visitors and acting as liaison with the Doctors/ Nurses as necessary for high quality service and good patient experience.

Main responsibilities include (but not limited to) 👇🏻

👉🏻 Greet patients as well as visitors and assist them accordingly.
👉🏻 Answer phone calls, screen and forward appropriately.
👉🏻 Manage the system for patient details and ensure that data entries are done accurately.
👉🏻 Schedule appointments for doctors and send reminders or make follow-up with the patient by phone/email.
👉🏻 Ensure physician productivity by maintaining and communicating calendars.
👉🏻 Process invoices and payments.
👉🏻 Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
👉🏻 Stay up to date with necessary information (List of services, doctors, opening hours, events etc).
👉🏻 Maintain office and working areas clean and operational.
👉🏻 Proper Filing of medical records and performing other administrative duties as assigned and / or when required.

Qualifications and other prerequisites 👇🏻

👉🏻 HSC or Baccalaureate.
👉🏻 Minimum of two years experience in a similar position or relevant role.
👉🏻 Attention to detail with good organisational, administrative, and planning skills.
👉🏻 Experience/ knowledge in wellness, healthcare and/or paramedical will be an advantage.
👉🏻 Ability to use standard software packages or willing to learn new software if required.
👉🏻 Very good verbal and written communication skills both in English and French.

Dr SOHUN Moonindranath is a Senior Specialist in Clinical Oncology at the New Cancer Centre. He earned his MBBS from the University Of Mauritius (2006) and has worked in the public sector as General Practitioner till 2013.

He was awarded a state scholarship to study Clinical Oncology at Jiangsu University where he completed his residency at the Affiliated Peoples' Hospital of Jiangsu University.

After receiving his MD in Clinical Oncology in 2016 (Distinction), he has worked as a Clinical Oncologist in the public hospital and has completed his Post Graduate Degree in Cancer and Clinical Oncology at Queen Mary University London (UK) after being awarded the Merck Scholarship.

As one of the most prevalent cancers, it’s important to understand the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer.

Different people have different symptoms for prostate cancer. Some men do not have symptoms at all.

If you have any of the following symptoms, be sure to see your doctor right away :

👉🏻 Difficulty starting urination.
👉🏻 Weak or interrupted flow of urine.
👉🏻 Urinating often, especially at night.
👉🏻 Trouble emptying the bladder completely.

Prévention : auto-palpation mammaire, comment la réaliser ? 💭

L’autopalpation mammaire permet de mieux connaître ses seins et d’être plus à l’aise avec son corps, de manière générale. 🌸

Cet examen doit être pratiqué tous les mois, environ une semaine après le premier jour des règles. Pour les femmes ménopausées, il doit également être réalisé une fois par mois, à une date fixe. 📆

L’autopalpation mammaire permet surtout de pouvoir remarquer facilement tout changement anormal au niveau de la poitrine, comme une grosseur par exemple; pour ensuite le signaler à son médecin.

À noter que l’autopalpation ne se substitue pas à une visite régulière chez votre gynécologue.
