As promised here is the final result revealed, a project I've been working on these last couple of months. Here is my interpretation of one of the best tales ever told by Homerus "The Odyssey", from a Gozitan perspective 😉

I am so grateful to be exhibiting at the Classics-Themed Art Exhibition. Shoutout to the Malta Classics Association for organizing such an amazing event. It was a blast meeting other artists and exchanging ideas.

20th of July marks the Liturgical Feast of Saint Margaret of Antioch. A day much awaited by the village of Sannat. One of the main reasons that got me into pyrography is to be able to assemble a piece of artwork in her honour one day. I can finally reveal with great pleasure a project I've been working on for a long time. The story of a Martyr who was tortured and beheaded because she refused to renounce her beliefs at the age of 16 years old. This artwork measures 1.2m x 0.60m and combines together: The Painting of The Beheading of Saint Margaret, Sannat Parish Church dedicated to her, The Titular Statue and The Titular Painting.
