There is a fire that does not ask to be extinguished.
It is not rage without purpose.
It is not cruelty.
It is not destruction for destruction's sake.
It is the fire that returns when you have made yourself smaller for too long.
The part of you that remembers the shape of your own boundaries.
That stops confusing sacrifice with love.
That refuses to feast upon crumbs simply because it has been hungry.
Lilith does not ask you to become hard.
She asks you to stop abandoning yourself in order to remain palatable to others.
She reminds you that tenderness and sovereignty were never opposites.
You may love deeply and still say no.
You may grieve and still choose yourself.
You may burn without burning everything around you.
Some fires consume.
Others return us to ourselves.
Bloom gently. Tread honestly. Forge onwards.
