You can’t think your way out of an anxiety spike. But you can breathe your way through it. 🌬️

When anxiety hits, your nervous system needs one thing. A signal that you’re safe.

This technique takes less than a minute and you can do it anywhere. At your desk, in the car, before a difficult conversation, in the supermarket queue. 🤍

Breathe in for 4. Hold for 4. Out for 6.

The longer exhale is the key. It activates your parasympathetic nervous system — the part of you that knows you’re okay. Your body starts to listen. Your mind starts to slow down. 🧠

Every single time.
And I get it. Hypnotherapy has a reputation that has nothing to do with what it actually is. Hollywood did us dirty on this one. 🎬
The truth is, you are aware the whole time. You are in control the whole time.
