Foot Advice for winter season!❄️

1) Moisturize Daily – Cold weather tends to cause dry and cracked heels. Moisturize your feet using a urea-based cream. (Try not to apply cream between your toes to prevent fungal infection)
2) Footwear – Wear closed shoes and socks to keep your toes warm.
3) Socks – Wear socks and double up if needed. Change your socks regularly.
4) Inspect Daily – Check your feet regularly for blisters, redness or skin changes.
How to know if there is a reduction of blood flow to your toes?

1) The toes will change in color to blue or white.
2) You will feel a tingling sensation around your toes.
3) While warming your feet up, you will experience some pain.

If in doubt, visit your health practitioner or podiatrist.
