Watching the match doesn't mean putting your healthy habits on the bench.

Choose nutritious snacks that keep you energized without feeling heavy:

1. Roasted nuts – packed with healthy fats and protein
2. Crunchy vegetables with a tasty dip – fresh, colorful, and satisfying
3. Vegetable skewers – simple, nutritious, and fun to eat
4. Oven-baked or air-fried samosas – all the flavor with less oil
5. Whole wheat bread sandwiches – filling and fiber-rich
6. Popcorn – a light, whole-grain snack when prepared with minimal oil and salt

I’ve been craving blueberry muffins for weeks. And when I finally got my hands on some blueberries, my lazy winter body said: “Let’s keep it simple.”

So I ended up making these Lemon Blueberry Oatmeal Biscuits — warm, wholesome, and ridiculously easy to put together. Sharing the recipe because comfort food should always be shared. 💙

🍪🍪Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup raw sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon powder
½ cup milk
2 tbsp lemon juice

Dry Ingredients
1½ cups all-purpose flour
2 cups traditional rolled oats
½ tbsp baking powder
Zest of 1 medium lemon

Add-ins
½ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen; if frozen, do not thaw)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream the butter and raw sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla, cinnamon powder, milk, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, baking powder, and lemon zest.
Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Gently mix in the blueberries.
Scoop small portions of the dough onto the baking tray.
Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
Transfer to a rack and cool completely.

🍪Serving
Enjoy warm with a cup of hot milk — perfect for cold winter days. ❄️🥛

✨ Simple Dinner Magic ✨

When you’re a dietitian, nothing in the fridge ever goes to waste — it just becomes dinner inspiration. 😄

Last night's plate was all about colour, fibre, and flavour:

🥢 Sautéed tofu with vegetables — whatever was left in the fridge got tossed into the pan, and it turned into the star of the meal.

🍲 Squash with parsley — warm, comforting, and naturally sweet.

🥗 Fresh salad — because I’m just a girl who loves fibres.

Honestly, balanced eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s just using what you have and making it delicious.

Funny part? My husband loved the sautéed tofu so much he asked for it bol renversé–style next time. 😄
