This Ramadan, we welcome yet another marvel of modern technology!

Many of you know what a cornea is to the eye and some of you have heard of conditions like keratoconus and a test called topography.

The Eye Clinic brings home to Mauritius its first ever MS-39; a device that offers advanced, sophisticated and unsurpassed imaging of the whole cornea and all its layers.

What could be common to these two images?

Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSR or CSCR).

One shows a box, the other shows an OCT scan.

The box contains our latest acquisition: a new laser that can treat CSCR. This will be the first of its kind in Mauritius and officially puts an end to having to make a painful journey abroad!
