The Association of Physiotherapists, Mauritius proudly celebrated World Physiotherapy Day on 8 September 2026 under the theme:

❤️ “Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke – Physiotherapy for a Healthier Heart, Stronger Lives.”

This year’s celebration highlighted the essential role of physiotherapy in cardiovascular rehabilitation, stroke recovery, prevention, physical activity and improving quality of life.

We were honoured to bring together physiotherapists, healthcare professionals, invited speakers and guests for an enriching session focused on multidisciplinary collaboration and better health outcomes for our community.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished speakers, members, healthcare professionals, partners and everyone who contributed to making this celebration a success.

We are pleased to announce our second event, a 2 days intensive "Advanced Kinesiology Taping with Myofascial Connectivity Approach Course 2026" organized by the Association of Physiotherapists (Mauritius) in partnership with Vivae Training.
