MOTHER BRAHMACHĀRIṆĪ —The tapasya of returning to the feminine we once abandoned.
What if the deepest tapasya of the Sacred Feminine was never about becoming worthy of Shiva?
What if it was about returning to the woman who had become lost within the very love she was seeking?
Today, Mother Brahmachāriṇī comes forward, inviting us into one of the most intimate initiations of the Sacred Heroine's Journey.
The journey from Sati to Pārvatī.
Not merely the journey of death and rebirth.
But the sacred maturation of the feminine's capacity to remain with herself.
To feel herself.
To inhabit herself.
To hold the very places within her that once felt too painful, too overwhelming, too abandoned to meet.
For Sati was not without love.
She loved deeply.
She was devoted.
She carried within her the longing to belong, to be accepted, to be recognised in the truth of her love.
Yet within our symbolic feminine descent, Sati also represents the daughter whose inner world had not yet developed the capacity to hold the magnitude of her own relational wounds.
The daughter whose longing for acceptance could become greater than her capacity to remain anchored within herself.
The daughter whose grief, rejection, anger, & separation wounds could become so overwhelming that she no longer knew how to accompany herself through them.
And perhaps this is where so many of us recognise the Sati within.
The feminine who knows how to love another...
But has not yet learned how to remain with herself when that love awakens her deepest wounds.
And then comes Pārvatī.
Not as a woman who has forgotten Sati.
But as the feminine who is finally ready to return to her.
To enter the very inner world that Sati could not fully inhabit.
To meet the rejection.
The abandonment.
The longing.
The grief.
The places where her own sense of worth had become entangled with being chosen, accepted, & loved.
And this is where Mother Brahmachāriṇī reveals the sacred medicine of Tapasya.
Not the punishment of the body.
Not the suppression of desire.
Not the renunciation of our humanity.
But the devoted willingness to remain present with our inner world, even when everything within us wants to escape🤍
