It's been a big morning for posting updates, and it would be remiss to forget a huge huge thanks to anyone who has ever gotten a Black Flame Ink tattoo. A tattoo is a permanent piece of artwork. Something you carry with you forever. The artist you choose for this delicate, meaningful, significant work shows a huge amount of trust. Every single client is appreciated.
Call back in to the studio sometime for a professional photo of your healed artwork, and you might end up on our 'wall of fame'.

Big shout out to everyone who came along and supported the launch, or helped out along the way.
This has been a huge project, and a massive development for Malawi's creative industry. People keep messaging after seeing the studio online to check that this is really Malawi! Yes it is! Malawi is growing. We're part of the evolution.

Proud to announce that, thanks to everyone who contributed, Black Flame Ink is now officially opened!
More photos to follow of the launch weekend, but for now just a sincere thank to everyone who has followed this Crowdfunder page. The Crowdfunder is now closed, and the studio could not have been possible without it.
It's not too late to contribute and support, Black Flame Ink has big ambitions and plans to keep developing, including educating and training more tattoo artists.

Wonder why the Crowdfunder name is 'Black Fire Ink'?
This was the first version of the brand name. However, 'Malawi' means 'flames' in Chichewa. So the brand really represents the essence of Malawi, encapsulated in every tattoo created at Black Flame Ink.
