OCRA Advocate Leader Rev. Loris Nadene Adams shared her experience of being diagnosed with ovarian cancer as the featured speaker at the 2025 Policy and Advocacy Summit hosted by Genmab this week, which brought together cancer patient advocacy organizations & policy professionals to discuss policy priorities in the context of patient access to care.
Adams recounted the challenges she faced in obtaining a diagnosis and emphasized the importance of both professional & personal support after receiving it.
