Oct 12–23 we’re heading to Nepal: first up are Kathmandu’s ancient streets, then deep into Langtang Valley, one of the Himalayas’ most spectacular and soul-stirring treks.

This isn’t a resort holiday. This is waking up at 3,870m with prayer flags snapping in the cold air and Langtang Lirung turning gold at sunrise.

Why trek Langtang?

Of course there are higher peaks in Nepal, but nowhere else has the same soul as the Langtang Valley. Having led groups here before, I can tell you it’s a sensory experience like no other—from the rhythmic ‘clack’ of prayer wheels to the powerful rush of countless waterfalls to the deep, resonant silence of the high-altitude glaciers.

As a sound practitioner, I find this landscape to be one big natural meditation. We aren’t just hiking; we’re reconnecting, with ourselves and nature. This is where Nepali go to experience Himalayan magic.

What you need to know:
• Dates: 12-23 October 2026
• Difficulty: Moderate (perfect for those with a bit of hiking experience but accessible to anyone with some preparation!)
• Vibe: Culturally rich, resilient communities, and stunning world-class views
