One of our recent clients left some beautiful words about our work and his experience, much love to you brother. ⭐

"My experience with Adz and was nothing short of life-changing.

From the moment I arrived, Adz and his team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, experience, and care. His deep knowledge of plant medicine, combined with his ability to create a safe and supportive environment, allowed me to fully embrace the healing process. They made me feel completely at ease throughout my stay, and his expertise in guiding these treatments was evident at every step.

Through the two stage Ib°gaine sessions and the bufo alvarius 5-Me°-DMT experience, I was able to address and release deep-seated childhood trauma and break free from my struggle with alcohol addiction. I can honestly say that I feel like a new person—grounded, clear, and truly transformed.

I would highly recommend Adz and root perceptions to anyone seeking a profound healing experience through plant medicine. He is a true professional and a gifted facilitator, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have worked with him.

This experience has changed my life in ways I never imagined possible."

Anyone marginally familiar with psychedelics has heard of magic mushrooms, L*D, or even M**A.

But ib°gaine, the psychoactive compound in the Central African shrub Tabernanthe iboga, may not be on many people’s radars. Researchers are beginning to test its efficacy in treating mental health disorders, much in the same way scientists are studying classic psychedelics, with one surprising discovery documented in 2024 by a Stanford research team: “The psychedelic may also be able to help treat traumatic brain injury.”

Ib°gaine remains a Schedule I substance in the U.S., despite showing promise in treating addiction and PTSD since the 1960s.

A powerful psychedelic long used in African rituals shows surprising promise for treating traumatic brain injuries and PTSD.

Ib°gaine offers a unique and holistic approach to addiction and dependency recovery, working on the mind, body, and spirit. Here’s a brief look at it's benefits, with a focus on walking through the process of healing.

Ib°gaine helps to break the cycle of addiction by resetting brain chemistry, reducing cravings, and interrupting patterns that keep individuals stuck in dependency. It can also encourage introspection, revealing deep-seated emotional or psychological triggers that contribute to addiction, thus providing the mental clarity needed for recovery.

Ib°gaine’s physical benefits are seen in how it eases withdrawal symptoms and cravings, making the detox process smoother and more manageable. This can significantly ease the often intense discomfort of coming off substances, helping to stabilize the body and reduce relapse risk.

The experience of ib°gaine is often described as transformative, offering users profound spiritual insights and a renewed sense of purpose. This spiritual journey can help individuals reconnect with their true selves, gain strength, and cultivate resilience to maintain long-term recovery.

Ib°gaine doesn’t just offer a quick fix, it’s part of a journey. As you experience the physical detox, mental clarity, and spiritual awakening, you are supported in navigating the challenges of addiction. The journey with ibogaine is one of deep self-discovery, healing, and growth, where the process of recovery becomes a path toward overall well-being.

Self-observation brings man to the realization of the necessity of self-change. And in observing himself a man notices that self-observation itself brings about certain changes in his inner processes. He begins to understand that self-observation is an instrument of self-change, a means of awakening.

When a seed breaks through the soil, it’s met with resistance, darkness, and the weight of the earth above. But this is how it reaches the light. If you asked for growth, expect the push, the stretch, the moments that test you. It's in the struggle that you find your strength. Life’s challenges aren’t there to break you…they’re there to show you just how powerful you are.

Remember, growth and comfort rarely coexist. When life challenges you, know that the universe is guiding you toward your own light. Embrace the challenge; it's the pathway to the growth you asked for.

meet Adz.
petroski is the co-founder and head facilitator at root perceptions integrative psychospiritual & dependency healing. Adz is a qualified drug & alcohol and mental health support worker, entheogen practitioner and transformation doula who shed a long term addiction to he**in and opioid dependency, and later alcohol abuse with the help of ibogaine and iboga 10 years ago.

Since his first initial therapeutic and rebirth experience with ibogaine/iboga in 2014 and after many years in a successful paint-refinishing career in prestige auto smash repairs, and much time as a bartender, has spent endless time since and during his own healing and rebuilding, studying and working with ibogaine, iboga & extracts, bufo alvarius & 5meo-dmt, and Australian spirited changa & tryptamines alongside his roles as a support worker. Adz has worked and trained with, and mentored under some of the ibogaine industry's leading pioneers such as Shea Prueger, Dr. Francisco Lopez Martinez, Asha Caravelli, Rocky Caravelli, Sara Glatt, Paul Featherstone, and initially under the late Narina Walls, plus many others that he's built close relationships with within the international ibogaine community. Not to mention his work and affiliates throughout the underground Australian medicine scene.

Using ibogaine and iboga as a bullet tool for breaking through addictions and behaviors, Adz also focuses on physical and psychological recovery through adjunct healings with the aid of intense bodywork practices, meditations, improved diets and supplementations, the understandings of Chinese medicine pathology and natural chi (prana/energy) flow, and the importance of rebuilding and repairing depleted systems due to long term substance use and physical health abandonment.

“No matter how many times the heart cracks, its only purpose is to break open. When you understand the heart’s purpose, you may allow it to break apart so deeply, the pieces forget how to reassemble.

When your heart opens completely, there will be no other alternative, but to live for the well-being of all. This doesn't mean you suffer as a way of sparing others. It means you are drawn to love your own heart so deeply that through the law of One, the fabric of reality is transformed for all.”

Meditation is an ancient practice that dates back thousands of years. Despite its age, this practice is common worldwide because it has benefits for brain health and overall well-being. With the help of modern technology, researchers continue to expand their understanding of how meditation helps people and why it works.

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing or clearing your mind using a combination of mental and physical techniques.

Depending on the type of meditation you choose, you can meditate to relax, reduce anxiety and stress, and more. Some people even use meditation to help them improve their health, such as using it to help adapt to the challenges of quitting to***co products.

The practice of meditation is thousands of years old, and different forms come from around the world. But modern science has only started studying this practice in detail during the last few decades. Some of the biggest leaps in science’s understanding of meditation have only been possible thanks to modern technology.

On the outside, someone who’s meditating might not seem to be doing anything other than breathing or repeating a sound or phrase over and over. Inside their brain, however, it’s an entirely different story. Modern diagnostic and imaging techniques, like electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scans, show that meditation can positively affect your brain and mental health.

There’s no one correct way to meditate. That’s because meditation can take many different forms. Experts have analyzed meditation practices and found that some common processes happen across different meditation forms.

Learn what you like. Some people prefer meditating in the morning and others at night. Pick whichever time works best for you! Make the time. Set aside time in your day for meditation and make it a part of your routine. Regular meditation is the key to getting the greatest benefits out of this practice.

If meditation doesn’t come easily, you’re certainly not alone. Explore resources, either in person or online, and ask for guidance.
