Every day is a new opportunity to return to Self. I've been moving through grief-- the kind that tares you down so you have to rebuild yourself.
I realized that I have been entangled in a myth of my own making. It was so beautiful and real to me, that I couldn't let it go until one day I had to face the truth -- that the soulmate I'd imagined wasn't coming. At least not in my timeline.
There have been many moments that I felt his energetic field brush up against mine. Sometimes I felt his energetic hand at the back of my heart. I would always smile and say: "There you are. "
My myth was alive and beautiful. It awakened things in me that have been carefully hidden for lifetimes. I began to witness a new version of myself rising -- a goddess, a medicine woman, a sage, a being filled with light.
He showed me that I am worthy of being loved and cherished. That I am enough exactly as I am.
I began to dream grander about traveling to places with breath nodes ready to be activated. Lands that still hold the codes of Lemuria and Atlantis. I felt myself expanding as I embraced the infinite possibilities of what I can create on earth -- how I can truly be of service.
When I discovered that my soulmate wasn't coming anytime soon, I was shattered. I didn't know how to process all the grief that completely consumed me.
I kept asking, "Why is this happening? How could I be so foolish to create a myth that I fully believed was true?"
It took me several days of just allowing that grief to rise within me and flow through me. Slowly something inside me began to heal. As I shifted my perspective I started to see how this myth I created was a gift. It ignited a fire within me that had been dormant for many years.
Now I am ready to keep my heart open for a connection in this physical reality. I still believe that my sacred soulmate will show up one day, but not when I'm looking for him.
Maybe we'll meet when I'm drumming on the cliff at Punta Cometa or swimming in the sea? Or maybe we'll meet just passing by on the street. I now know that I have no control over the timeline, so instead of waiting I choose to enjoy each present moment in my life.
