🌿 Did You Know? Soil Can Be Good for Your Mood

Ever noticed how you feel calmer after gardening, watering plants, or simply spending time outdoors?

It’s not just “fresh air.”

Science suggests that healthy soil contains natural bacteria like Mycobacterium vaccae, which may help support serotonin production — the brain chemical linked to happiness, relaxation, and emotional balance.

"Healthy" doesn't always look like six-pack abs, fast runners or perfect gym selfies.

For some people, healthy means walking 1km without knee pain.
For others, it means better blood sugar, less stress, sleeping well or simply having the energy to play with their children or grandchildren.

Your journey is yours!
Keep walking, keep moving, keep showing up. That already counts!

Sometimes the most meaningful health conversations happen on sidewalks and parks.… not inside clinics.

This morning’s walk in conjunction with Bintulu Car Free Morning was a beautiful reminder that health is not built only through prescriptions and procedures — it is also built through connection, community, movement, laughter, and time spent together.
