Wrapping up my conference trip to Ho Chi Minh City with a very special reunion!

โ€‹I got to meet up with a little fighter born prematurely at 25 weeks in Penang back in 2019. I was so excited to see him and find out heโ€™s now a completely healthy, happy boy.

โ€‹Moments like this are the absolute best gift for a pediatrician. It makes every single sleepless night caring for these fragile babies completely worth it. โค๏ธ

This is what preschool is really for.

It's a structured environment where children play with purpose , guided by trained educators so that by the time they walk into Standard 1, they already know how to sit, focus, follow instructions, get along with classmates, and bounce back when something is hard.

Besides infantile colic, urinary tract infection and cow's milk protein allergy can also be a potential cause.

But real readiness goes deeper than ABCs and 123s. It's emotional maturity, focus, social awareness, and the patience to learn through process, not pressure.
