There is a quiet teaching in Bali—that the keris is like a second spouse. It is to be respected, protected, and often kept hidden.
Today, I honour it differently—with deep respect to my Mahaguru.
Not from ego, but from acknowledgment of the path and responsibility placed in my hands.
For years, I’ve been drawn to handmade batik—from Jogja to Bali. Only now do I understand why… the gold and silver threads of the sarong quietly camouflage and respectfully veil the sacred keris.
This is not display—it is devotion. For this moment, I step forward in ceremony, ready to walk the path that has chosen me.
