Children tend to respond more quickly to Bach flowers, perhaps because they’ve not yet accumulated the layers of emotional complexity and life experience that adults have - although that’s not to say that adults don’t do that too. I think then possibly it’s about their own readiness to notice the changes that the flowers bring and to go with it.

In this graphic about children (which could also apply to adults) there are several Bach flowers that are indicated in the descriptions... what you do think they could be? 🌺

Overwhelmed? A very popular and successful online health and exercise teacher, Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) posted a live chat today to express how saddened he was by the news of the latest lockdown in the UK. He was tearful thinking of the families who are struggling. His humanity and sensitivity to the problems so many are facing had echoes for him too from his own childhood experience. He was also demonstrating that being open about unhappy emotions is okay, even when those feelings are overwhelming.

Humanitarians with high sensitivity can feel compromised by the intensity of what is happening around them. Elm is an important remedy, and it’s also worth exploring other flowers too such as Walnut to help stop being absorbing too much from the external environment and Aspen for hyper-alert emotional states - which may not be immediately obvious in the moment. There will also be other subtleties of emotions that are specific to the individual, in this example, Honeysuckle may be another possibility.... and there is scope to add up to 7 Bach flowers into one mix.

Reaching out and asking for the help you need is not a weakness. It takes courage. I hope Joe Wick’s example will encourage others to give voice to their feelings too. And for those of you who know how the Bach flower remedies can help, please do spread the word and open the door so that others can discover more.

《聆听彼此,关心爱护》

我感觉好像好久没在这儿和大家聊聊了🤔 最近有太多新事物新的挑战正在执行中😇可是只要你需要我,我一直都会在🥰

最近常常看见很多身边的人因为健康,经济压力,情绪不安等等的原因导致严重影响心情,心境和人际关系。这也诱使了我的 机制再度的出现了 ( #马鞭草-过于热衷于想要让自己的专业可以帮助到他人)

天啊~感觉大家的事都好像我的事似地想要帮助大家解围🥴🤭

可是我非常清楚知道其实除非是他人愿意,也察觉到自己的需要那么你所给予的 ”帮助“ 才会奏效,让结果事半功倍。也许很多人不知道情绪不是只有喜怒哀乐而是可以包含更多包括我们是否会因为想要取悦他人委屈了自己而不自知( ),表现的强势来伪装自己( ),付出的努力得不到预期的期待而沮丧( ), 总感觉怎么好事都没我的份而觉得自己人生不公平/悲惨( )等等🌺

个人觉得只有学习让自己的内心强大,心境阔达了,不让自己那么拘谨的活着,慢慢的我们看事情的角度也会跟着改变。当然,维持好的关系适当的沟通也是关键。沟通是另外一门需要学习,多多练习的功课。只有学会了如何觉察自己的情绪,接纳它,再适当地表达才是最有效的沟通方式。你说呢?😎
