We are proud to share a remarkable achievement by Dr. Lau (Dr. Lau Wai Kit) 🩺, who has successfully produced a case report based on a patient treated at our clinic. This was not only a highly challenging diagnosis, but also a condition that is often overlooked in daily clinical practice.

This case was presented as a poster at the AFPM Annual Scientific Conference 2026, and was further honored with publication in the Official Journal of AFPM. 📝 (Malaysian Family Physicians Journal)

Title: “Caesarean Scar Endometriosis – A Rare Cause of Abdominal Pain in Primary Care” 🧬
Behind what appeared to be a common symptom lay a rare and complex condition. Through meticulous observation and keen clinical judgment, Dr. Lau made an accurate diagnosis, giving the patient the best possible chance for appropriate treatment.

In line with the requirements of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) , our clinic will begin implementing E-INVOICING starting 1st January 2026.

Please be informed that:
• All invoices will be issued in electronic format (E-Invoice).
• Patients who require an E-Invoice (for tax or reimbursement purposes) must request it within 48 hours of the transaction date.
• The E-Invoice request is a One-Time Submission, and all information provided cannot be changed or amended once the E-invoice is issued.
• Requests made after 48 hours will not be processed

🔸Stem Cell Related Therapy & Arthritis 干细胞相关治疗与关节炎🔸

Arthritis — whether in the form of Osteoarthritis (OA) or Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) — affects many people in Malaysia and around the world, causing joint pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, and a lower quality of life. Conventional treatments such as painkillers, anti-inflammatory medications, and joint replacement surgery often do not fully restore the damaged cartilage or stop the disease from progressing. This has led to growing interest in regenerative medicine approaches, including stem cell therapy, which aim to repair joint tissue, reduce inflammation, and improve the overall joint environment.

Stem cells, particularly Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), have been identified as promising options for the treatment of arthritis because they have the potential to develop into cartilage cells (chondrocytes), regulate the immune system, and release growth factors that promote healing and tissue repair.

关节炎——无论是骨关节炎（Osteoarthritis, OA）还是类风湿性关节炎（Rheumatoid Arthritis, RA）——在马来西亚及全球范围内都十分常见，会导致关节疼痛、僵硬、活动受限以及生活质量下降。传统治疗方式如止痛药、抗炎药物及关节置换手术，往往无法完全修复受损的软骨，也无法阻止疾病的进一步恶化。这促使医学界对再生医学疗法产生浓厚兴趣，其中包括干细胞治疗，旨在修复关节组织、减少炎症反应，并改善关节的整体环境。

干细胞，尤其是间充质干细胞（Mesenchymal Stem Cells，简称MSCs），被认为是治疗关节炎的有潜力选择，因为它们具有分化为软骨细胞（软骨母细胞）的能力，能调节免疫系统，并能分泌促进愈合与组织修复的生长因子。

We are proud to congratulate Dr. Lau on receiving his Letter of Credentialing and Privileging in Aesthetic Medicine from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, making our clinic one of the licensed clinics authorized to perform aesthetic procedures.

With a strong background in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Lau has further expanded his expertise by completing both a Postgraduate Certificate in Family Medicine and a Diploma in O&G.

He now works closely with Dr. Patricia to deliver comprehensive specialist care to our community—strengthening our commitment to excellence and establishing our clinic as one of the leading and fully credentialed centers for a number of healthcare services in the area.

Dr. Lau Wai Kit holds dual postgraduate medical qualifications with a special interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, and is currently undergoing postgraduate specialists training under the Family Medicine Programme.

He obtained his Graduate Certificate in Family Medicine from the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia, and initially began his career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G). Graduated from a Malaysian medical school, Dr. Lau further earned his professional diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

With years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, he provides expert clinical judgment to determine whether surgical intervention is necessary, always prioritizing patients' rights and well-being.

刘玮杰医生拥有双重专业资质。除了精湛于妇科疾病诊治，他还额外进修了家庭医学。

他获得了马来西亚家庭医学科学院颁发的家庭医学证书，并最初在妇产科领域开始其医疗事业。刘医生毕业于马来西亚本地医学院，随后取得了爱尔兰皇家医学院颁发的妇产科专业文凭。

刘医生毕业于马来西亚的医学院，并持有爱尔兰皇家医学院妇产科专业文凭。凭借多年的妇科经验，他能精准判断妇科疾病是否需要手术，全力保障权益。

Dr. Patricia Lim Su-Lyn is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing in Kuala Lumpur. A graduate of Manipal University, she is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG, UK).

Skilled in obstetric and gynaecological surgical procedures, Dr. Patricia Lim is recognized for her compassionate, patient-centered care. She further enhanced her expertise by earning a Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Liverpool, UK (2024).

林淑玲医生（Dr. Patricia Lim Su-Lyn）是驻吉隆坡的妇产科顾问医生。她毕业于马来西亚曼尼帕尔大学，并荣获英国皇家妇产科学院院士（RCOG, UK）。

林医生精通产科及妇科手术，以富有同理心、以患者为中心的诊疗风格著称。2024年，她更取得英国利物浦大学医疗领导力理学硕士学位，进一步拓展专业视野。
