The Department of Paediatrics, Hospital Universiti Malaysia Sabah (HUMS) is pleased to have successfully conducted today’s webinar on Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) as part of the Paediatric CME Series 2026.

📌 INTERAKSI JABATAN PEDIATRIK BERSAMA JABATAN PATOLOGI DAN UNIT KONSESI HUMS BIL. 2/2026

A productive discussion was held on 4 August 2026 at the Department of Medicine Meeting Room, FPSK, focusing on the POCT Capillary Bilirubinometer application and the follow-up status of its quotation from the BEMS sector.

The meeting provided an opportunity for our teams to strengthen collaboration, clarify requirements, and work towards improving point-of-care bilirubin testing services for our paediatric patients. 🤝🩺

📌 Department of Paediatrics Meeting No. 3/2026
🗓️ 16 July 2026 (Thursday)

The Department of Paediatrics, Hospital Universiti Malaysia Sabah (HUMS), successfully conducted its 3rd Department Meeting of 2026, bringing together our team to review departmental updates, discuss ongoing initiatives, and strengthen collaboration in our commitment to providing high-quality paediatric care.

As part of our commitment to continuous professional development, the meeting also featured a Continuous Paediatric Nursing Education (CPNE) session delivered by SN Irnawaty binti Abd Gafar entitled:

🦠 "ICLN Update – Flow at the Primary Care Centre (PCC)"

The session provided valuable updates on infection prevention and control (IPC) practices and the latest workflow at the Primary Care Centre (PCC), reinforcing the importance of patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to best practices in delivering paediatric care.

We extend our sincere appreciation to SN Irnawaty binti Abd Gafar for the informative and engaging presentation, as well as to all members of the Department of Paediatrics for their active participation and valuable contributions throughout the departmental meeting and CPNE session.
