Assalamualaikum and warm greetings.

It is my pleasure to unveil the May 2026 issue of Berita Ortopedik marking the final issue for the 2025/2026 editorial term.

Fittingly, this issue coincides with Teachers’ Day — a tribute to the mentors, educators, and trainers whose guidance continues to shape generations of orthopaedic surgeons. We also look ahead to the upcoming MOA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 in Penang, themed “AI in Orthopaedics: Precision, Prediction & Patient-Centred Care”, as our profession continues to evolve alongside rapid technological advancement.

On behalf of the editorial board, thank you to all contributors, readers, colleagues, and members for your encouragement and support throughout this journey. If there were shortcomings or areas where the publication could have been better, they are mine to own.
