Kalaripayattu History Shared by Master Mahenthiran Natarajan at the Temple of Fine Arts.

Journey into the rich heritage of Kalaripayattu, one of the world's oldest martial arts. According to traditional belief, it was founded by Lord Parashurama, the sixth avatar of Lord Maha Vishnu and Sage Agastya Muni. It is a living tradition where discipline, culture, spirituality, and self-defence come together.

It was an honour to share the history, philosophy and significance of Kalaripayattu on the Temple of Fine Arts stage. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this cultural sharing session.
