Bringing Yoga into the Workplace ✨
Another meaningful session last week with the team at Boehringer Ingelheim, introducing mindful breathing and movement practices to support employee wellbeing.
After more than two decades of teaching yoga, I've observed how modern lifestyles have changed the way we move and carry ourselves. With increasing hours spent on computers, phones, and desks, many people are losing awareness of posture, breathing patterns, and core stability. This is especially noticeable around the pelvis, spine, and trunk—the foundation of how we move and function every day.
Through yoga, we can begin to reconnect with our bodies, develop greater awareness of alignment, and cultivate a stronger connection between movement and breath. When we learn to move with awareness, it creates a foundation that supports not only yoga practice but any physical activity we choose to pursue.
I was encouraged by the team's enthusiasm, openness, and willingness to learn. Small moments of awareness can often lead to meaningful changes over time.
