Did my First Uniportal (Single Port/ Incision Robotic Assisted Thoracic Surgery for a wedge lung resection yesterday. Started with a simple wedge resection case first and all went well.Hoping to move on slowly to lobectomy etc in future.

NiVATS has been performed worldwide years ago by Thoracic Surgeons in suitable cases.
We in Prince Court Medical Center just embarked on this technology only now . Although a bit late to start, but better than not starting at all. Teamwork is always the key.

Thanks to Dr Wan Aizat and our excellent OT Team mates, we performed our First Non Intubated Thoracic Surgery ( NiVATS ) yesterday in Prince Court Medical Centre (Official) for a young patient presented with tension Pneumothorax which was persistent needing surgery. This is a milestone for PCMC in the advancement of Thoracic Surgery .
In PCMC, we move forward as a team to achieve greater heights...
