Prof. Dato’ Dr. Marina Mat Baki, Dekan Fakulti Perubatan (FPER) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) atas pengurniaan Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Pahang – Yang Amat Mulia, Peringkat Kedua, Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (D.I.M.P) yang membawa gelaran Dato’ sempena Istiadat Pengurniaan Darjah-Darjah Kebesaran dan Pingat-Pingat Negeri Pahang Darul Makmur Sempena Memuliakan Ulang Tahun Hari Keputeraan Yang Ke-66 Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Sultan Pahang, Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Sultan Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah yang diadakan pada hari 14 April 2026.

Heartiest congratulations to Dr Farid Syamil, an Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery (ORL‑HNS) postgraduate candidate from the Department of ORL‑HNS, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, for winning the First Prize in the Oral Presentation Category at the Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) organised by the College of Otorhinolaryngologists – Head and Neck Surgeons, Academy of Medicine Malaysia (CORLAMM), held on 3 April 2026 at Connexion Nexus, Bangsar South.

His presentation, “Shrimp Paste–Induced Nasal Symptoms Among Adults with Allergic Rhinitis,” showcased rigorous clinical inquiry and the growing relevance of local dietary triggers in allergic nasal disease.

Dr Farid and his research team, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr Aneeza Khairiyah Wan Hamizan, continue to exemplify the spirit of academic excellence and scientific curiosity that drives our department forward.

We also proudly acknowledge Dr Farhana Kamaruzaman and Dr Stacy Arvinna, who represented UKM alongside Dr Farid at this scientific meeting. Well done to all, and may these achievements inspire many more.
