On the day that my doctor told me that she had no cure for my pesticide poisoning, I realized that total health is my personal responsibility. Self-responsibility is powerful. At 38, I already had the beginnings of arthritis. When I put even a bit pressure on my knees by slightly bending them, I felt pain.
