A TALE OF 3 LITTLE FISHES
In 2018, 3 Little Fish Sdn Bhd (3LF) was established by 2 ladies who have worked in the Aquaculture Industry for over 20 years. Their passion for Aquaculture is unsurpassed and their aim is for the Aquaculture Industry to expand and progress in Malaysia and the region. They see a need for more product support and technical improvement and are working tirelessly to bring new and innovative products to the market. In 2018, they obtained the exclusive distributorship of Syndel Products in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei and Cambodia. 3 LF is also the authorized consultant for Calix Limited to promote AQUA- Cal+, an amazing water enhancer, in the Indian market. 3 Little Fish is located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to cater for the rapid expansion of the industry in the Asian region. As our commitment and relationship with local and regional partners grew, 3 Little Fish re-located to Zenith Corporate Park in SS 7 Petaling Jaya in order to be more central and accessible to our customers.
3 Little Fish supplies proprietary products for the Aquaculture Industry and we have a skilled team of sales and technical support that provide solutions to concerns voiced by shrimp and fish farmers. We not only provide strong technical support for the products we sell but we are also eager to share and disseminate whatever knowledge we have gathered in our endeavor to help better the customer's farming practices. 3 Little Fish Sdn Bhd has been awarded the *Best Agrotechnology Award* at the recently concluded MAHA 2026. This award was given to the innovative Break and Protect 2 (BP2) leech trapping device that is used to control the outbreak of the marine leech ~Zeylanicobdella arugamensis~ which causes lesions and mortalities of marine finfish like groupers, seabass and pompano. The use of BP2 has been shown to decrease the incidence of leeches by 80%, improve production by 5% and saves on labour. BP2 is chemical free and sustainable. Production increases as fish are not stressed out with weekly bathing and handling. Fish also command better prices are market as they are healthier and have less lesions. The BP2 fulfils SDG 2, 8 and 14 in improving food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, productive employment and conservation of marine environment for sustainable development. BP2 also won the Commonwealth Secretary General's Sustainability Award in 2021. BP2:The Next Generation of Marine Leech Control

Break and Protect 2 (BP2) is a highly innovative device that breaks the cycle of marine leeches, thus protecting the fish.

Marine leeches cause lesions and secondary infections, leading to lower-quality fish. The BP2 device acts as a "physical substrate," tricking adult leeches into laying their cocoons on the device. By removing and cleaning the device, you physically remove the parasites from the environment, breaking the cycle of marine leech spawning.
