And when 3 of our nasopharyngeal cancers cases who started and completed treatment at the same time all had their all clear this week, that is celebration mode on 🥳🥳🥳💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Someone somewhere told him he had nasty disease which will appear again within a year and this has always been at the back of his mind

We are now more than 5 years since his diagnosis and have again received the all clear on his scans

However I know he is still living in fear

Some words can echo forever and have the power to maim indefinitely

We should always strive to be better however we need to also accept there is always a bigger force at play

We mere mortals can only do our best and leave the rest to fate

Do not give in to negative thoughts
Do not dwell into the fear of the unknown

Unfortunately easier said than done

Mr G is recovering very well that he can now offer to join our clinic as a new staff member. Maybe we will assign him to our F&B tasks 😝🤓🤣🤣🤣

Syawal is a time for celebration. It marks the end of fasting in the month of Ramadan.

It is not just about good food, new clothes and celebrations, but also an opportunity to practice the discipline and good deeds done in Ramadan.

Filial piety is not just about balik kampung and uttering maaf zahir batin.

Parents give up their world to raise children and never expect anything in return.

However children can choose to take happy pictures on their holidays, not even bothering to check whether their parents have eaten, are recovering from their illness or enduring the festive season on their own in hospital. Days can go by without a single phone call and the children do not even bother to inform of their return. Just like any others they visit when they want at their convenience. And the parents will never hold a grudge.

Why? Because parents are parents. They are built with hearts of gold when it comes to their offsprings. No matter how jarring the neglect is, they still welcome their children with open arms unconditionally. As the adage goes “one parent can look after ten children, but ten children cannot look after one parent”.
