Many people assume that Single Malt means the best whisky, the most expensive whisky, or whisky from a single barrel.

The truth is much simpler.

Single Malt Whisky means:
✔ Made from 100% malted barley
✔ Produced at a single distillery
✔ Distilled in traditional pot stills

That’s it.

It does not automatically mean older, rarer, or better than every other whisky.
