Meet Mei Xin — the newest chiropractor on our team 🤍

With 3 years of clinical experience in Singapore, Mei Xin has worked with a wide range of patients, from children to the elderly, building a strong foundation in personalised, patient-centred care.

She is also trained in dry needling, allowing her to incorporate targeted muscle work alongside chiropractic adjustments for more effective results.

More recently, she has developed a special interest in supporting pregnant mothers, which led her to pursue Webster Certification — a technique focused on pelvic balance and creating optimal conditions during pregnancy.

Babies don’t “decide” their position overnight.

Fetal positioning is a gradual process that evolves over weeks, not days.
Around the late second to early third trimester, many babies are still moving freely — rolling, stretching, and exploring space.

By this stage, a growing number will begin settling head-down, while others take their time — both are normal.

Prenatal care isn’t about forcing outcomes… It’s about supporting how a pregnant body adapts — movement, balance, comfort, and the ability to change with each week.

As both a chiropractor and an expecting mum, I’m reminded that good care doesn’t promise results.
It supports the process.

Why do people react during shockwave?

Because shockwave hits the exact tissue that hasn’t been healing properly!

Many parents are curious about what actually happens during a baby’s chiropractic session - AND RIGHTLY SO!

Each visit starts with a thorough assessment, where we gentle observe how your baby moves, rests, and responds. We check for things like ;

👶🏻 Head or neck turning preferences
🍼 Feeding patterns and issues
💪 Muscle tension or asymmetry
🤱Posture or feeding positions that may be uncomfortable

If a treatment is needed, it’s done using very light pressure - about the same as what you’d use to press on your own eyelid! No cracking, no twisting, just soft, precise guidance to help the body find balance again.

These gentle adjustments can support better feeding, sleeping, digestion, and overall comfort - helping your little one grow and thrive naturally 💕

Sometimes, a baby’s body speaks before their voice ever can.

Those tiny lip blisters after feeding - most parents think they’re harmless. But they can be your baby’s quiet way of saying, “Feeding feels hard for me!”

When there’s tension in the neck, jaw, or mouth - often from birth positioning or the journey through the birth canal - it can make latching more difficult. Baby tries harder to feed, lips rub more against the ni**le or teats, and those little blisters form.

It’s not just about the lips - it’s about how your baby’s body is adapting ! By gentle helping release those restrictions and improving how baby moves and feeds, we’re supporting the body’s natural design to feed with ease and comfort.

Pregnancy and tailbone pain - not something people warn you about 😮‍💨

We often hear moms say : “I thought back pain was normal … but why does it hurt right at the tailbone whenever I sit or stand?”
