The inaugural Malaysia Microbiome Meeting (MMM) 2026 started with a simple ambition — to create a platform where the different voices shaping microbiome science could meet, exchange perspectives and learn from one another.

What an incredible journey at the Malaysia Microbiome Meeting (MMM) 2026!

From clinical research and regulatory perspectives to multi-omics, women’s health, early life, chronic disease and the gut–brain axis, MMM 2026 brought together brilliant minds from Malaysia and across the region to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives and explore how microbiome science can translate into better health.

For B-Crobes, we are proud to have played a part in making this platform possible — bringing together science, clinical evidence, regulatory perspectives, collaboration and real-world impact.

A wonderful weekend of learning, sharing, and connecting with fellow General Practitioners at the 27th Penang Teaching Conference for General Practitioners, held from 28–30 August 2026 at G Hotel Gurney, Penang.

We were honoured to have Prof. Dr. Norfilza deliver an insightful talk on “Application of Evidence-Based Probiotics in Clinical Practice”, highlighting how evidence can be translated into practical approaches for everyday patient care.

Riset bukan sekadar menghasilkan data. Riset adalah cara untuk memahami kebutuhan pasien dan mencari solusi kesehatan yang lebih baik.

Itulah semangat yang kami bawa di PIT IAI 2026, saat memperkenalkan hasil penelitian mengenai potensi probiotik sebagai terapi pendamping pada jerawat ringan hingga sedang, sekaligus meluncurkan buku Transformasi Paradigma Probiotik: Generasi Baru Kesehatan Berbasis Mikrobioma.

Rangkaian kegiatan ini semakin bermakna dengan penandatanganan nota kesepahaman bersama Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI), PharmaQ, dan Alpro Indonesia untuk memperluas akses masyarakat terhadap solusi kesehatan berbasis probiotik, didukung juga oleh mitra distribusi Hexbio di Indonesia PT Yung Shin Pharmaceutical Indonesia. Kami percaya bahwa inovasi kesehatan yang berkelanjutan lahir dari kolaborasi, penelitian, dan komitmen untuk menghadirkan solusi berbasis bukti ilmiah bagi masyarakat.

Research is more than generating data. It is about understanding patients' needs and finding better ways to improve health.

That is the spirit we brought to PIT IAI 2026, where we shared our latest research on the potential of probiotics as an adjuvant therapy for mild to moderate acne and launched the book “The Probiotic Shift: Reframing the Future of Microbiome-Based Healthcare”.

The occasion became even more meaningful as we formalized strategic collaborations through Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI), PharmaQ, and Alpro Indonesia to expand access to probiotic-based healthcare solutions. This initiative is also supported by PT Yung Shin Pharmaceutical Indonesia, the official distributor of Hexbio in Indonesia. We believe that lasting healthcare innovation is driven by collaboration, scientific research, and a shared commitment to delivering evidence-based solutions that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
