MSWOCN Monthly Meeting | May 2026

The Malaysian Society of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (MSWOCN) successfully conducted its Monthly Meeting tonight, led by our President, Mr. Muhammad Afiq, from 8:30 PM to 10:10 PM.

The meeting covered several important matters, ongoing issues, and upcoming activities involving MSWOCN members and nurses nationwide. It served as a valuable platform for collaboration, strategic planning, and strengthening our shared commitment towards advancing wound, ostomy, and continence nursing practice in Malaysia.

MSWOCN Members at the 4th East Coast Wound Care Conference & 5th Advanced Wound Healing Conference 2026

The Malaysian Society of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (MSWOCN) is pleased to share the involvement of our members at the 4th East Coast Wound Care Conference & 5th Advanced Wound Healing Conference 2026, held on 19th – 20th May 2026 at the Auditorium SASMEC.

Carrying the inspiring theme, “Healing Together: Advancing Wound Care in the East Coast and Beyond”, the conference brought together healthcare professionals to strengthen knowledge sharing, collaboration, and advancement in wound care practices.

We are proud to see our MSWOCN member, Matron Azniwani, among the distinguished speakers, presenting on “Nursing Perspective in Pressure Injury Prevention” during the conference. Her presentation highlighted the important role of nursing perspectives in strengthening preventive care and improving patient outcomes.

In addition, we are equally proud that two MSWOCN members, Ms. Siti Nurshazwani and Ms. Wan Nur Amalina, were part of the committee members of the event, contributing behind the scenes towards the successful organisation of this meaningful conference.

MSWOCN is honoured to witness our members actively involved in various capacities — from scientific presentations to conference organisation — reflecting continued commitment towards professional growth, collaboration, and excellence in wound care practice.

Congratulations to all our members involved for representing the spirit of dedication and advancing wound care beyond boundaries. 💙
