The operation took place this morning and was completed by lunchtime.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions:

● ECP-BASIC INTERNSHIP X 4

You will work shifts as per operational requirements under the direct supervision and guidance of an ECP-BASIC, ECP-INTERMEDIATE and/or an ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT - Paramedic in a old-school disciplined EMS-setting.

REQUIREMENTS - minimum:

● A hand-written cover letter
● A comprehensive and current CV
● ECP-Basic certificate
● HPCNA practice card (2026/2027)
● Namibian ID document
● Fluency in English - read, write and speak
● Must be medically and physically fit to perform all operational EMS duties

PREFERENCE will be given to candidates:

● Residing in Swakopmund

● Able to communicate in Afrikaans

● Valid police "Code of Conduct"

● Valid driver's license - B or C1 will be an added advantage

▪︎ these are INTERSHIP / JOB ATTACHMENT positions and not an offer of employment. Thus suitable for candidates who have NOT completed their 1 000 hours yet

▪︎ a written, oral, and practical skill evaluation will form part of the interview process and interviews will be conducted in Swakopmund

For the second year in a row, Medi Duty was on-site to ensure that all participants and crew were safe and taken care of.
We will always help where we can.
