There is a vaccine that helps prevent cancer, and most parents have never heard of it.

It protects against HPV, a very common virus that causes more than 95% of cervical cancer, the second most common cancer among Namibian women.

The vaccine works best when given early: from age 9, for both girls and boys.

𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗮'𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘄.

A blood bank isn't somewhere else, it's all of us. Someone is always waiting, a patient in treatment, a mother in surgery, a child in an emergency, for blood only a donor can give. The good news is: this is the one shortage any of us can fix.

Most healthy adults can donate, the donation itself takes about ten minutes, and one donation can help up to three people.

There is no right way to feel after cancer treatment.
