Common Signs and Symptoms:
🤕 Persistent Headaches Headaches that are frequent, severe, or different from your usual headaches may be a warning sign.

🤮 Nausea and Vomiting Unexplained nausea or vomiting, especially in the morning, can occur due to increased pressure inside the skull.

👀 Vision Problems Blurred vision, double vision, loss of peripheral vision, or sudden visual changes may develop.

⚡ Seizures A first-time seizure in an adult should always be medically evaluated.

🦵 Weakness or Numbness Weakness, numbness, or tingling in the face, arm, or leg may occur, often affecting one side of the body.

FIRST AID FOR BURNS:

Burns can happen from hot water, fire, electricity, chemicals, or hot objects. Knowing the right first aid can help reduce damage and save lives.

1.) Remove the person from the source of the burn
Turn off electricity, move away from fire, or remove the hot object carefully.

2.) Cool the burn immediately
Run cool (not ice-cold) water over the burn for 10–20 minutes. This helps reduce pain and skin damage.

3.) Remove tight items
Carefully remove rings, watches, or tight clothing before swelling starts. Do not remove clothing stuck to the skin.

4.) Cover the burn
Use a clean cloth, sterile gauze, or non-stick dressing to protect the area from infection.

5.) Do NOT apply harmful substances
Avoid applying:
Toothpaste
Palm oil
Butter
Raw eggs
Powder or ink
These can worsen the injury and increase the risk of infection.

6.) Do not burst blisters
Blisters protect the skin underneath. Bursting them can lead to infection.

7.) Give clean water if the person is conscious
This may help prevent dehydration, especially in severe burns.

8.) Seek medical attention immediately if:
-The burn is large
-The face, hands, feet, or private parts are affected
-The burn looks deep or charred
-It was caused by electricity or chemicals
-The person has difficulty breathing.

Quick and proper first aid can make a big difference in burn recovery.

💊 5 ANTIBIOTICS THAT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS WHEN ABUSED:

Antibiotics save lives when used correctly, but abusing them can lead to serious health problems, antibiotic resistance, organ damage, and even death.

Here are 5 antibiotics that should NEVER be misused:
1️⃣ Ciprofloxacin
Abuse or excessive use may cause: • Tendon rupture • Nerve damage • Severe diarrhea • Heart rhythm problems • Antibiotic resistance
It should not be taken carelessly for every fever or stomach pain.

2️⃣ Gentamicin
One of the most dangerous antibiotics when improperly used.
Possible dangers: • Kidney damage • Permanent hearing loss • Balance problems • Toxicity with wrong dosage
Usually requires careful medical monitoring.

3️⃣ Chloramphenicol
Although effective, abuse can be deadly.
It may cause: • Bone marrow suppression • Aplastic anemia • Severe blood disorders • Life-threatening infections
Because of these risks, it is used cautiously.

4️⃣ Metronidazole
Commonly abused for stomach infections and s*xually transmitted infections.
Misuse may lead to: • Nerve problems • Severe nausea • Liver problems • Dangerous reaction with alcohol
Never combine it with alcohol.

5️⃣ Ceftriaxone
Frequently abused through self-injection.
Possible dangers: • Severe allergic reactions • Antibiotic resistance • Gallbladder problems • Injection complications • Dangerous use without proper diagnosis.

WHY ANTIBIOTIC ABUSE IS DANGEROUS:
When antibiotics are abused: • Bacteria become resistant • Medicines stop working properly • Infections become harder to treat • Stronger and more expensive drugs may be needed.

COMMON FORMS OF ANTIBIOTIC ABUSE:
• Taking antibiotics without prescription • Stopping treatment halfway • Using another person’s medication • Taking antibiotics for viral infections like common cold • Wrong dosage • Self-medication.

Pls Note:
Not every sickness needs antibiotics.
Always use antibiotics under proper medical guidance to protect your kidneys, liver, blood cells, and overall health.
Misusing antibiotics today can create resistant infections tomorrow.
