Maternal Mental Health Week May 4 -10
Maternal Mental Health Week is a time to raise awareness about the mental and emotional wellbeing of mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. Many mothers experience stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional exhaustion during this period but often suffer in silence.
Motherhood is not only a physical journey but also an emotional one. Every mother deserves support, care, and understanding. Families, communities, and healthcare providers all have a role to play in checking on mothers and encouraging them to speak up and seek help when needed.
Caring for a mother’s mental health means caring for the family and society as a whole.
